We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

We are welcoming to all who come in our doors — and all means all.

Our Sunday worship service begins at 10:30am.

What to expect:

  • Come as you are . . . we have no dress code. You will see jeans, shorts, dresses and suits in our congregation.

  • Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month. We serve by intinction - that is, you will come forward, take a piece of bread from a loaf offered to you. Then, you will dip the bread in a cup of grape juice, also offered to you, and return to your seat. All are welcome at the table of Jesus Christ!

  • Our children participate in the early portion of the service and then leave for age-appropriate learning after the children’s sermon. On the first Sunday of the month, our children stay with us to learn about our worship service.

  • There is a “Passing of the Peace” during each service. The traditional greeting is “the peace of Christ be with you”, with a response of “and also with you.” But many people greet with the also traditional “good morning!” Note: we are a small congregation so this portion of the service is enthusiastic.

  • We do not pass an offering plate during the service. There are offering plates at the front and rear of the sanctuary for any offering you may choose to give. On the 2nd Sunday of each month, our children take up a “two-cents-a-meal” offering of mostly coins that goes to the Presbytery of East Tennessee’s hunger actions.

  • Twice a month we have a coffee hour following worship in our fellowship hall.

We hope you’ll find something from our worship to take with you throughout the week.
